I never had any issues with the phone or battery, phone rarely got hot… so I would be suspicious of this report.

I already bought this model of cellphone, and I read a user that the battery explode in the hands of his son.

I had read the same report… the bulletin from BLU can be found here http://www.bluproducts.com/security/

The models that are impacted include the following; R1 HD, Energy X Plus 2, Studio Touch, Advance 4.0 L2, Neo XL, Energy Diamond.

Just FYI there has been spyware reported on those BLU phones. Just google “android BLU security” to see what I’m talking about.
