You can use either UTFTP (UNIStim TFTP) or you can use plain old TFTP. You just need to setup your DHCP server to return the TFTP server IP address and then have the appropriate files on the server when the IP phone comes “calling”.

Just follow this post and substitute the appropriate UNIStim firmware files from the SIP firmware files.

You would need to contact an Avaya reseller to get additional licenses to add extensions. It’s a keycode you would install onto the system that would unlock the additional extensions.

How can I convert to unistim? I got a BCM50 to test these phones. I got the firmwares to do that but i have no idea how to do that. How to connect the phone to tftp server? I got 6 license with my bcm50 but i can use only 32 extensions. How can I increase the number of extensions?
