My switches are still in v5.4.0009, I ‘ll wait before updating to 5.5. Be caution !

Cheers!

I’m wondering if you stumbled onto a bug… interesting.

There are also betas with the new web server code for the other ERS switches in the pipeline.

Yup, both switches were fresh out of the box running the same FW, SW, were even manufactured on the same day!

Was a bit of a mystery, but everything worked when I went back to 5.3.3 – will have to get my hands on 5.5 and see if I can get it to play ball.

Cheers,

-Mike

Hi Mike,

When the lights flash like that it usually means that the switch software/firmware doesn’t match between the two switches. Are you sure that you had the exact same FW and SW on both switches?

Good Luck!

Rolled them back to 5.3.3 and everything worked fine.

Also had one out of the box that would boot, however no config changes would work at all (type the command, hit return, session locked up), and the USB port was faulty.
