Same here re: 7.x – doubt we’ll ever run as we have quite an investment in older hardware that works very, very good.

RIP STP. I mentioned on the forum that this technology was originally introduced by the ex CTO of Nortel John Roese who was one of the architects of Cabletron’s Securefast, which used OSPF at layer 2 with no STP in 1995.
