Hi Alexey,

Sorry I don’t have any software for the 5131 hanging around. You might have luck seeking out a Symbol/Motorola/Zebra/Extreme sales engineer and see if they’ll help you out.

Good Luck!

My “Ap 5131 dual radio dependent” requires firmware version no higher than 3.4.0
The one that we have, apparently was installed by mistake and works incorrectly. (6.3.0)

Can you help me?!
I will be very grateful for any version, even very old, you can send here: bornzoo@mail.ru

Hi Santhosh,

The AP300 is a dependent Access Port that requires a Motorola Wireless LAN Switch to operate. If you are running an older version of software on the Wireless LAN Switch you need to install a patch (refer to the post above) in order to support a new hardware release of the AP300.

Cheers!

Hi Ray,

The installation of the patch isn’t too difficult at all. It should take just a few minutes, however, it does require a reboot of the Wireless LAN Switch.

Thanks for the comment and good luck with your Trapeze deployment!

The controller would see the AP but it would never associate. We are using WS5000 and WS5100. We would have to do both code updates and patches on our controllers…but we are in the process or replacing the equipment with Trapeze so I think we will try to limp long by taking AP’s from areas that do not need coverage.
