You’ll find all the manuals, there are quite a few of them, available from Nortel’s website under Support. You may have to create an account to access the content although you shouldn’t need a support contract just to download the manuals.

Cheers!

I suspect that the ELAN of your CS1000 (Call Server) is not connected to your production network. It’s also possible that whomever setup the ELAN interface of the CS1000 chose to leave out the default route statement. In the early days Nortel strongly advised folks against connecting the ELAN to a production network for fear of causing problems with the voice system. These days almost everyone connects the ELAN to their production network in order to manage it. Actually now that I look at that IP address it looks like the default IP address that comes with the system and I guess it doesn’t match the IP addressing that your TLAN interfaces are using and/or your desktops/servers.

If that’s the case I would advise that you seek a reseller to reconfigure the system. You could easily bring down your system if your not careful.

In the mean time you can still use the CS1000 console to perform any adds/moves/changes.

I would advise you to visit the Tek-Tips forum. The folks over there have an immense amount of knowledge about the Succession platform. I would also suggest that you sign-up for a Nortel account and download the manuals for the CS1000. While the manuals won’t explain everything they’ll help get you going.

Sorry I can’t be of more help!

You’ve connected to the Media Gateway and not the actual Call Server. You can actually telnet to the Media Gateway or the Voice Gateway Media Cards but you can only access the Call Server using rlogin. From the output you pasted above your Call Server should be at 137.135.128.153.

Good Luck!
