What’s New

I thought it would just be easier to chronicle the changes I make to the blog from a single page as opposed to multiple posts that really don’t have much to-do with the content of the blog itself. This should allow the folks that are interested to see what changes I’m making but yet not annoying anyone looking for technical information.

I upgraded to WordPress v2.7 this evening. It was really quite simple, it just took a few minutes to upload all the files to the website. I’m alo tiring of the current template… it seems a little too cluttered for me so I might have to look around or perhaps design my own replacement.

This blog has been taking in quite a bit of traffic ever since we migrated the site. In the past two weeks we’ve just started breaking through 200+ users daily. I just need to start pumping out some worthy content to keep the masses happy! :)

Added Subscribe to Comments plugin from Mark Jaquith; this will allow folks that leave a comment to be notified when a response or additional comments are made. The feature is un-checked by default and must be checked when the user is leaving a comment.

Added WP-Print plugin from Lester ‘GaMerZ’ Chan; this will allow folks to easily print posts or pages without all the surrounding navigation or Adsense ads.

Added WP-Post Views plugin from Lester ‘GaMerZ’ Chan; this will display the number of times a post or page has been viewed giving the user a sense of how busy a particular post and or subject might be.

Note: I obviously need to backfill a lot of work that’s already been completed, just don’t have the time right now.

Cheers!
