Thanks for the comments – I’m setting up two 8600 chassis in an IST config using HA. The positive comments are good to hear. We’re on our way to a square topology with 4×8600 (2 server – 2 core) and would appreciate any further info about RSMLT behaviour.

Nope. But all I know is that HA works fine. It’s been up for about a week now and hasn’t gone down. Yeah It’s sweet to see JDM work correctly on 5.0.1.0. I know that if you use the out-band mgmt on the CPU itself. JDM works fine in 5.0.0.1. Hahha go figure.

Just Installed The 5.0.1.0 on my 2 8600 Boxes.

Anyone tried the RSMTL-EDGE Support ? ( Square Topololy with 2 x 8600, and 2 x 1624 ). I’m having strange problems… (8600-4 links-IST – 1624 2 link IST, each 1624 is connected to each 8600.)

Some weirds problems occurs with the RSMTL Enabled… Anyone Noticed problems? Unable to ping some IP(s) inside the VLAN.

Thing that i need to test out :
– With 5.0.0.1, i was unable to change the password RWA on my 8600.

And Yep Finally the JDM is FAST!!! VRF Switch is now Fast, Get IP from VLAN(s) is FAST…

Just installed it today on one box and enabled the HA. Seems it passed the 3 hour crash that happened with 5.0.0.1 and JDM is fixed and its FAST!!!! Haven’t had time to setup a cluster with SMLT yet.
